Staff members have been encouraging and assisting a consumer, who, after suffering a life altering medical condition has used a wheelchair for mobility for many years.

 

This month we have seen remarkable progress in his mobility and he is now able to walk into the centre and on and off the bus with only the aid of a walking stick.

 

He is very proud of his achievements which have given him his independence and mobility and in turn feels he can participate more within the centre activities but also at home and within the community.
