Day Respite Services

The Aged Care Respite Program is a Home And Community Care (HACC) funded program  that is available five days per week (Mon—Fri). The aim of this program is to provide carer's with a break from the caring role preventing premature, permanent placement in long term / permanent residential care.  Activities undertaken include:

• Outings
• Concerts
• Board, table and card Games
• Leatherwork
• Craft Sessions
• Quizzes
• Bingo
• Carpet Bowls
• Cooking
• Exercise Sessions

The Saturday program provides quality recreation opportunities for young people with a disability, enabling carers to have some time out so they can continue in the caring role for longer.  Trained staff implement programs which incorporate recreational activities, Socialization, personal care needs, medication needs and personal Development opportunities with the Focus on the individual needs of the client.
